Pune's Official Pride March

Pune will host its 14th Official LGBTQ+ Pride Walk, organised by Yutak LGBTQ Trust. Ahmedabad Dance Theatre Production

Ahmedabad will host SAMAAJ on June 13 at Evoke Centre for Arts. Conceptualised by choreographer Jainil Mehta, this 60-minute queer dance narrative follows the relationship between two men, Samir and Miraaj, through contemporary and traditional dance, poetry, music, and storytelling. The production has travelled across multiple Indian cities, widely recognised for bringing queer experiences into dance theatre language.

Chennai Sapphic Theatre Performance

Chennai will present "Neela Bhoomi" on June 10 at Alliance Française of Madras. Written and performed by Prarthana and Tamilarasi, this sapphic play explores queerness, love, identity, connection, and belonging through personal narratives and shared experience. The performance is presented free to all as part of the venue's Pride month programming.

Month's Conclusion and Grand Celebration

"Pride Month Finale: Dragon's Fury" will conclude celebrations as a large-scale event assembling drag artists, performers, community members, and allies for evening programming of performance, competition, music, and celebration. Organised by Queer Gully, the event extends the collective's commitment to creating LGBTQIA+-centred spaces whilst challenging conventional gender expression paradigms.
